1. Hold down the Throttle (+) button and turn on the transmitter to enter the Selection Mode.
2. Press the Throttle (+) or (-) buttons to select the desired mode by counting the LED flashes as
described below.
a. 50% Power (Green Power LED will flash 3 times when in this mode):
i. Ideal for first time drivers when using brushed type motors (the standard that comes
with your vehicle).
ii. Also ideal for new drivers who are trying out a brushless type motors. This brings the
speed down to a manageable level until you are comfortable.
b. 70% Power (Green Power LED will flash 2 times when in this mode):
i. Ideal for new drivers with brushed type motors.
ii. Also ideal for drivers who have mastered the brushed motor at full power and have
just put in a brushless system.
c. 100% Power (Green Power LED will be solid when in this mode):
i. Although its the defaul settings, its meant to be used once you are comfortable with
the other settings and the handling of your vehicle.
3. When the desired mode is selected, simply turn the transmitter Off to save your selection. Turn
the transmitter back On to use this mode.
4. The transmitter will remember this setting the next time you use it, so be sure to check for a
flashing LED light if you don’t recall which Mode is selected. There is a shortcut guide on the
control panel of the transmitter for your reference.
Steering Dual Rate (D/R):
Dual rate adjusts how far the wheels turn in each direction when you
turn the wheel on the transmitter. If you find your vehicle turns too much, you may want to try
reducing the D/R setting. This may also be useful if you install and aftermarket servo and brushless
system since each brand of servo has its own specifications which may include turning more than
the stock included servo. To adjust the D/R setting follow the steps below.
1. Hold down the Steering (+) button and turn on the transmitter to enter the D/R setting.
2. Use the Steering (+) or (-) buttons to increase or decrease the D/R setting.
Channel Reversing:
Some aftermarket servos or ESC’s may require you to reverse the channel
setting on the transmitter for proper function. For example: if you install an aftermarket servo and
notice that when you turn the wheel to the left, the car goes right, this means the Steering channel
needs to be Reversed. Follow the steps below to Reverse the channels on your transmitter.
1. Steering Channel Reverse (Channel 1)
a. Hold down the Steering (-) button and turn on the transmitter to enter the Channel 1
Reversing Mode.
b. Press the (+) or (-) button to set switch the channel mode.
c. Turn off the transmitter ot save the setting.
2. Throttle Channel Reverse (Channel 2)
a. Hold down the Throttle (-) button and turn on the transmitter to enter the Channel 2 Re-
versing Mode.
b. Press the (+) or (-) button to set switch the channel mode.
c. Turn off the transmitter ot save the setting.
Factory Reset:
If you have made changes on your transmitter and are experiencing problems
achieving normal operation of your vehicle, it may be necessary to restore your transmitter to the
factory default settings. To reset your transmitter follow the steps below.
1. Turn on your transmitter.
2. Hold down both the Steering (+) and Throttle (+) buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.
3. Release the buttons once the LED starts to blink.
4. After the LED has blinked 10 times, the transmitter will be restored to the factory default set-
tings.
