4.1 Controlling the PG 310/390 - Main Functions
23
Charge Reset:
Resets both the anodic and the cathodic charge.
Amplifier Mode:
Allows a
selection between potentiostatic
and galvanostatic mode.
4.1.3
Filter Settings
Notch
Filter:
The
PG
310/390
Potentio-
stat/Galvanostat
provides a
notch filter for both the voltage
and the current pathway.
The
notch frequency (50 Hz or 60
Hz) is pre-set at the factory as
desired by the customer, and
cannot be set by the user. If the
notch filter is On, incoming signals at the power supply frequency will be
effectively filtered out.
Control Amplifier Bandwidth, Stimulus Filter, Voltage Filter,
Current Filter:
This filters can be set either manually or automatically.
(The Notch Filter has to be switched manually by the user in any case.
For automatic filter mode, please activate the Auto Filter option in the
Configuration
window. The automatic settings dependance is that way:
The automatic settings of the Control Amplifier Bandwidth, the Volt-
age Filter, and the Current Filter depend on the user defined Sample
Interval and Filter Factor in the
Pulse Generator
(Free waveform)
window.
The automatic setting of the Stimulus Filter depends on the Sample
Interval.
If the Auto Filter mode is selected, the filter settings are unable for manual
settings and displayed with grayish numbers.
