4. Before installation/using the device for the first time
The spotlight may only be used outside of the packaging.
Carefully take the spotlight out of the packaging.
Before you operate the spotlight, make sure that it has not been damaged in transit. The spotlight
should not be used in the event of damage to electrical parts. Repairs should only be performed by a
qualified electrician.
Keep packaging material away from children and pets. Risk of suffocation!
5. Installation/Using the device for the first time
This product may only be installed by a qualified electrician.
Before installation, all the connections in the building should be switched so that they are free of current
(de-energised) and secured against from re-energisation. To do this, trigger the appropriate circuit
breakers as installed in the building.
Make sure that the substrate is suitable for reliably holding the weight of the lamp on a long term basis.
Place the spotlight on the desired position using the retainer.
Plug in the connector.
Do not kink the cable; make sure that the cable and the plug are free from tensile forces and torques.
Protect all cables and insulations from any damage.
Check once again in order to make sure everything is connected properly.
Reactivate the circuit breakers that are installed in the building.
