Installing the NC software 340492-04 SP10, -05 SP7, -06 SP9, -07 SP11, -08 SP3 and higher

(or 340493-04 SP10, -05 SP7, -06 SP9, -07 SP11, -08 SP3 and higher) with  Windows 2000

Note!

Local administrator rights are required to install NC software.

If necessary, contact the machine tool builder!

Windows knowledge is required.

1. Press the EMERGENCY STOP button.

2. Restart/reboot the control. 

®

 The window "Log on to Windows" is displayed.

3. Enter the user name "OEM" and the password.

4. Press the Windows key to display the taskbar.

5. Open the path "My Computer/Local Disk (C:)/Program Files/NCSW/...

6. Select the NC software version, e.g. "340492-004_SP10".

7. Start the setup and follow the on-screen instructions.

(The control restarts after the installation.)

8. Delete the displayed MPNAME.MP.

 An adapted MPNAME.MP is created.

9. Check whether the NC software version, e.g. "340492 04 SP10" (or "340493 04 SP10") is correct.
