Thank you for chosing a Hedler light unit and your confi dence in the Hedler light system.
Please, read the following technical informations carefully before using the light unit.
Codes are given in <Brackets>.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The light unit HEDLER H25s is designed for professional use, they are assembled by applying precision methods and tested individually for
function and quality. The HEDLER H25s is provided with an integrated U-bracket and a friction brake and a 5/8” Quick-Lock light stand
attachment. After loosening the hex key screws by app. 2 turns, the U-bracket can be moved back and forth in its keyway for gravity adjustment
and it is turnable for right and left hand use.
The HEDLER H25s uses AC 110 - 230 V and modern Tungsten halogen bulbs from 150 - 1250 Watts. The bulb sockets can be used with
individual bulbs from 150 - 1250 Watts for each socket. Because of that, the H25s main advantage is, that you can use different light power
settings without changing the color temperature of the light.
The use of an individual bulb in its socket results in a specifi c bulb-fuse-combination, the technical information about this can be found on our
website www.hedler.com.
On its front side, the aluminium housing holds the Borofl oat™ safety glass. AdditionalIy there are the Uni-Adapt studs for attaching refl ectors.
Interchangeable refl ectors with bayonet ring can be attached in the following way: place the rim of the ring into the guide grooves of the upper
studs and the round opening over the cone-shaped bolt, and lock it by a turn to the left. To attach the rotatable 4-Leaf barndoor or a MaxiSoft
folding refl ector, place the rim of the ring into the guide grooves of the upper studs, and then push the complete refl ector towards the QuickFit´s
cone-shaped bolt until the ring locks in the bolt´s groove. Detach the refl ector by lifting the QuickFit´s handle, moving the lower side of the
refl ector away from the light unit´s housing, and then lifting the refl ector´s ring out of the guide grooves of the upper studs. The Borofl oat™
safety glass is held by a clip, which turned sideways will permit removing the safety glass for replacing the bulb.
On the opposite side of the housing, one will fi nd the ergonomically incorporated handgrip, the cable, the non-detachable fuse holders and for
visual function control illuminated switches.
The HEDLER H25s is provided with a fan, driven by a DC motor, whose electronic will function on any AC supply of 110 - 230 V. It is controlled
by a thermostat, which also serves for protection of the electronics and permits continuous operation of the H25s in any position. After switching
the bulb(s) off, cooling will continue, until the temperature inside the housing has dropped to 35º C; then stop automatically. On account of this,
the H25s may remain connected to the main power supply permanently.
Accessories
It is recommended to use light units of the Hedler range only in combination with an original HEDLER 4-Leaf barndoor or one of the HEDLER
accessory refl ectors. This permits adjusting the light beam to the requirements of any situation. In addition to the refl ectors MaxiNorm, MaxiSun
and MaxiBrite or the MaxiSoft folding refl ectors, 4-Leaf barndoor, refl ex umbrellas and Honeycombs (grids) are available.
