5 Safety instructions
5.1 Qualification
Cleaning, maintenance and repairs may only be undertaken by qualified electricians in accordance
with electrical engineering regulations (DIN EN 50110-1, DIN EN 60204-1 etc.). Pre-requirements:
Specialist training and knowledge of technical standards, especially regarding hygienic protection
measures and disinfection measures, EU directives and EU ordinances. Observe applicable accident
prevention requirements. Observe occupational health and safety measures: protective clothing in
good repair etc.
5.2 Impermissible operation
Uses, other than those described, are considered improper.
The air purifier must not be used in the following situations under any circumstances:
•
outdoor use;
•
use in damp rooms (relative humidity above 70%);
•
use in potentially explosive areas;
•
use in areas with chemically aggressive, toxic, or oily atmospheres.
The following is impermissible:
•
operation with partially mounted or missing maintenance covers
•
operation with covered air inlet and/or outlet
•
operation with bridged safety switch
•
operation as a humidifier
•
operation without activated locking brake
•
operation as a kitchen extractor hood cleaner
Modification by the customer or use of the unit for purposes, other than those for which it is intended,
is not permitted. HEBUmedical GmbH accepts no liability for any damage resulting from this. In such
a case, the responsibility and risk is borne solely by the user.
