CAUTION:
Some parts of this heater can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people are
present.
• The guard of this heater is intended to prevent direct
access to heating elements and must be in place when
the heater is in use
Before Installation
Safe distances required for installation – see figure 1
The heater must only be operated in
a horizontal position with max ±5°
angle left/right.
The heater must be at least 1.8m
above the ground.
The distance of the heater from a
side wall or corner should be a
minimum of 0.50m.
The distance of the heater from
combustible materials must be a
minimum of 0.5m.
The distance of the heater from a
ceiling must be min 0.5 meter.
Electrical
IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following
code:
Green and Yellow = Earth;
Blue;
= Neutral
Brown;
= Live
WARNING
The mains lead is made from high temperature cable and as such
should not be replaced without consulting a suitable qualified electrician.
The fitting must be earthed.

Installation
The
HSQ
H2000
Heater
is supplied
with 1.8m pre-fitted cable and all the
required fixings in the box –
see figure 2.
Fixings supplied: 3 x ST4*35 screws;
3 x wall plugs; 2 x M6*14 bolts and
butter
fl
y nuts; Tools needed: Drill,
screwdriver and the Allen Key
supplied.
Step 1:

Drill 3 x 8mm diameter holes as shown
in Figure 2 at 28mm centres with
40mm vertical distance.
NOTE:
Install the unit a minimum
height of 1.8m above the floor.
Step 2:

Insert the plastic wall plugs supplied in
each hole.
Step 3:
Fix the bracket to the wall using the 3 x
ST4*35 screws supplied and make sure
the installation is secure.
Step 4:
Fix the heater to the wall bracket using
the two M6*14 screws and butterfly nuts
supplied as shown in Figure 5.
Steps 3 and 4 may be reversed if
installation location so requires
.
