Before lighting the fireplace, verify fully open position 

by looking up from the inside of the fireplace.

The  outside  air  kit  supplies  some  combustion  air  for 

your fireplace. It may help reduce the effects of nega

tive air pressure.
Close the inlet to prevent cold drafts when the fireplace 

is not being used

2.  Outside Air

 CAUTION! 

Outside air control handle may be warm. 

Adjust before lighting fire.

3.  Glass Doors

•  Glass doors are optional.

•  Refer to Figure 3.3 for how to properly use them.

• 

With  certain  fireplace  installations,  it  may  be 

necessary to operate the fireplace with both glass 

doors in the opened or closed position to prevent 

smoke spillage into the home.
