A-8. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
A. GENERAL
HR GOAL workout
In this workout program, the user can preset target heart rate up
to 90percent of the user’s theoretical maximum. This workout
makes the treadmill belt speed and incline automatically adjusted to
take the heart rate to the pre-selected level and keep it constantly
throughout the workout. For this workout, the user has to wear a
heart rate chest belt. (A-7-HEART RATE MONITORING SYSTEM)
1. Select HR GOAL
If the treadmill does not read the Heart rate signal from the chest
belt, “Wear heart-rate transmitte” will be displayed and the procedure
for inputting data can not proceed.
2. Input gender.
Input gender with /- button, and push ENTER
3. Input weight.
Input weight with /- button, and push ENTER
4. Input age.
Input age with /- button, and push ENTER
5. Input heart rate.
Input target heart rate with /- button, and push ENTER (The
maximum target heart rate for input is 90% of the user’s theoretical
maximum.)
6. Input target value.
Input target value with /- button, and push START
7. Press

After the workout, workout resume is displayed for 30 seconds

Measure your normal heart rate prior to the exercise. If
your heart rate comes close to the expected max. heart
rate (220 - age), stop exercising immediately.
