Advanced
Regulatory domain: Allows you to change the channel range the wireless adapter will use. Selections
are 11, 13 or 14 channels.
MAC address: The Media Access Control (MAC) address of your wireless adapter when connected to a
Wi-Fi network.
IP address: The Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned to the TV by the Wi-Fi network you are connect-
ed to (unless you used the IP settings to assign it a static IP address).
Use static IP: Select this option if you wish to enter the IP address information assigned to the TV by
the network administrator.
By default, you obtain an address on the network from the network itself, using the DHCP protocol.
If your network requires a static IP address you will be prompted to enter the following information:
An IP address for the TV that is valid and unique for your Wi-Fi network
The Gateway for the network
The Netmask for the network
When you're connected to a network, you can touch its name in the Wi-Fi settings screen for details
about the speed, security, address, and related settings.
Ethernet
To select a Ethernet connection verify the Ethernet check box is marked, if not touch ‘Ethernet’ to acti-
vate it.
Once Ethernet is active select ‘Ethernet Configuration’ to setup the network.
DHCP: if the IP address is assigned by the network using DHCP verify it is checked and select save. The
TV will automatically receive an IP address from the network.
Static: Select this option if you wish to enter the IP address information assigned to the TV by the net-
work administrator. You will need to enter the following information:
An IP address for the TV that is valid and unique for your network
The Sub-netmask for the network
The Gateway for the network
The DNS address for the network
Select ‘Save’ when you are finished
