8 Components of the Stud Welding Unit

8.3

Indicator Lights

Yellow

The set charging voltage of the capacitor bat-

tery.
The charging voltage can be set in 5 V incre-

ments from 50 V to 100 V.

Flashing yellow The welding capacitors are charging.

Constant yellow The welding capacitors are charged.

Yellow

There is electrical contact between the welding

element and the workpiece.

Yellow

The welding gun trigger is being actuated.

Yellow

The stud welding unit has overheated.

Allow the stud welding unit to cool down while

switched on.

The switch for mains mode is located on the rear of the stud welding machine.
