Axial alignment:
At the factory, the sensor head of the rotational speed measuring system must
be adjusted so that when the axial alignment of the stator is exact (antenna ring
positioned precisely above the rotor winding carrier), the sensor is in the cor
rect position to the rotor ring gear.

Radial alignment:
The rotor axis and the axis of the speed sensor must be along a line at right
angles to the stator platform. The nominal radial distance is crucial for radial
alignment (
). The optimum distance is 2.5 mm and is achieved
when the rotor and the stator are in precise radial alignment.
