this would cause a force shunt through the cable.

Setting the overload stop

Type PW29 load cells are fitted with an adjustable overload stop. Set this over
load stop before starting up the load cell.

To do this, load the installed load cell with approx. 120% of the service load, at
the maximum eccentricity for the particular application. The maximum permiss
