The product shall be maintained in accordance with these instructions. No alterations should be made

to this product. Monthly maintenance is highly recommended. Lubrication is critical to jacks as they support

heavy loads. Any restriction due to dirt or rust etc can cause either slow movement or rapid jerks, damaging

the internal components.

1. Before use, a visual inspection of the jack should be made for abnormal conditions such as cracked welds

damaged, bent, worn, loose or missing parts or hydraulic leaks.

2. Lubricate the ram, linkages, saddle and pump mechanism with light oil. Grease wheel bearings and axles.

3. Clean all surfaces and maintain all warning labels.

4. Check and maintain the ram oil level.

5. Check ram every 3 months for any sign of rust or corrosion. Clean as needed and wipe with an oil cloth.

6. When not in use, always leave the saddle and ram all the way down in the fully lowered position. This

will protect critical areas from excessive corrosion.

Do not use regular motor oil, brake or transmission fluids as they can damage the seals. Always use

products labelled as Hydraulic Jack Oil.

CHECKING OIL LEVEL

1. Turn release valve counter clockwise to allow ram to fully retract. It may be necessary to apply force for

    lowering.

2. With the jack on a level surface, remove the inspection plate oil fill plug. The oil should be level at the bottom

of the fill hole. If not, top it up but do not overfill.

3. Always fill with new, clean hydraulic jack oil.

4. Replace fill plug and inspection plate.

5. Check jack is operational.

6. Purge air from system as required.
