WAKE PENDANT
The pendant will go into SLEEP MODE after five minutes of no activity — before
pressing the desired function button, press any button to first wake up the pendant.
LOCK ALL
FUNCTIONS
Press and hold LOCK button for three seconds to lock all functions. After five
LED flashes, all four UP LEDs illuminate steady green, indicating they are now
locked; an audible signal also indicates when locked and beeps up to three times
until LOCK button is released.
UNLOCK
ALL
FUNCTIONS
Press and hold LOCK and BATTERY buttons for one second to unlock all
functions. A quick LED flash indicates they are now unlocked; an audible signal
also indicates when unlocked.
UNLOCK
INDIVIDUAL
FUNCTION
Press and hold LOCK button and press each UP button to unlock each function
individually. As each button is released, its LED will go out, indicating that
function is unlocked.
BATTERY
When the battery discharges to 20% capacity or less, a continuous beep sounds
during motor operation, the LED above the BATTERY button illuminates steady
green, and the control box LED illuminates amber.
LOCK /
UNLOCK
BRAKE
Press the BRAKE button to lock or unlock all four caster wheels (toggle brakes on / off).
Note: To prevent unintended movement, brakes lock automatically after chair is
stationary for 30 consecutive seconds.
STEER
MODE
Press the STEER MODE button to toggle STEER LOCK position on / off. When STEER
LOCK position is on, all four caster brakes will unlock, and foot-end casters will remain
straight so that chair steers in a straight line. Note: STEER MODE can be engaged even
if brakes are locked.
EXTEND CHAIR
LENGTH — BUT
FIRST, SUPINE
To extend chair length, first press and hold the SUPINE button until the
chair is completely horizontal.
EXTEND CHAIR
LENGTH
Then, at foot end, press and hold the black toggle button below the
EXTEND label, shown at left. Note: The motorized leg extension can only
be extended when the leg is in the horizontal position.
CHAIR
POSITION — BUT
FIRST, RETRACT
Before transitioning to CHAIR position, retract chair length: at foot end,
press and hold the black toggle button below the RETRACT label, shown at
left. Important: Hold this button until the chair length retracts completely.
CHAIR POSITION
Press and hold the HOME button to transition to CHAIR position. The
chair automatically raises back section, lowers leg section, and tilts seat
section simultaneously; chair also automatically adjusts height. No LED.
Note: The leg extension must first be fully retracted; if not, the HOME
button will beep when pressed, but nothing will move.
TRENDELENBURG
POSITION
Press and hold the TRENDELENBURG button to transition to
TRENDELENBURG position. The chair automatically lowers back section,
raises leg section, and tilts seat section backward simultaneously; chair
also automatically adjusts height. No LED.
