DIRECTIoNS FoR USE AND CARE
A solar light is an environment-friendly product.
A solar cell converts sunlight into electricity and
recharges the battery. The light turns on auto-
matically at dusk using the electricity stored
during the day.
INTRoDUCTIoN
Make yourself familiar with the product before
first use. Read the following directions for use
and safety instructions carefully. Use this pro-
duct only for its intended purpose. Keep these
instructions for future reference and include
these instructions if you pass on the product to
third parties.
PRoPER USE
The product is intended as decorative outdoor
illumination. Any other use as well as modifi-
cations of the product have to be considered
as improper use and could cause injuries or
product damages. The manufacturer will not be
held responsible for any damages resulting from
such improper use. Not for commercial use.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIoNS

Warning
Life and accident risk for toddlers and
kids! To avoid danger of suffocation,
keep packing materials away from babi-
es and children. Risk of suffocation due
to packing material. Small parts can be
swallowed! Children often underestima-
te the dangers!

This solar light is only suitable for decoration
and not a toy!
ATTENTIoN!

The integrated LED is not replaceable.
·
In winter solar cells do not receive as much
sunlight as in summer. That will affect the
number of operating hours.
·
NEVER look directly and unprotected into the
LED!
SET UP
Attention:
Please remove the transparent pro-
tection film carefully from the solar cell before
first use.

Open the head of the solar light and turn the
On/Off-switch to „ON“. The solar light is now
ready-to-use.
·
The battery should be charged at least 8-12
hours before first use to reach its full capacity.
To charge the battery partly will shorten the
life time of the battery considerably.

The solar light will shine automatically when
dusk falls.
LoCATIoN & INSTALLATIoN
The light ON time will shine depend on your
geographical location, weather conditions and
seasonal lighting availability.

Select a location with full direct sunlight. In a
shaded location the battery will be charged
completely.
·
Do not place the solar light near to nighttime
light sources such as domestic lighting or
street lights. The lights may not turn on.

Select a location where the ground is soft and
the solar cell will get direct sunlight. Then stick
the ground spike into the ground and press the
soil firmly around.
BATTERY
If necessary replace the rechargeable battery
with a rechargeable battery of the same type
(see Technical Details). Other rechargeable bat-
tery types could damage the solar light.
1. If necessary replace the rechargeable battery
by opening the head of the solar light.
2. Replace the rechargeable battery (see Tech-
nical Details) with a fresh rechargeable bat-
tery. Be sure to align the polarity (+/-) of the
battery as indicated by the polarity inscrip-
tions inside of the battery compartment.
3. Close the solar light with the head.
