Directions for use

INTRODUCTION

Make yourself familiar with the product before 
first use. Read the following directions for use 
and safety instructions carefully. Use this pro-
duct only for its intended purpose. Keep this 
instruction for future reference and include this 
instruction if you pass on the product to third 
parties.

INTENDED USE

The airpot is intended to keep beverages hot or 
cold. Any other use as well as modifications of 
the product have to be considered as improper 
use and could cause injuries or product dama-
ges. The manufacturer will not be held respon-
sible for any damages resulting from such im-
proper use. Not for commercial use.

SAFETY NOTES

Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid dan-
ger of suffocation, keep packing materials away 
from babies and children!

ATTENTION!

 

·

Caution: Risk of burns! Be careful when pou-
ring hot liquids!

 

·

Avoid skin contact with hot liquids. Injuries 
resulting from burns can be the consequence.

 

·

Do not leave children unsupervised with hot 
filled airpot! Risk of burns!

 

·

Make sure that the airpot is placed upright on 
a vibration-free surface and cannot fall over! 
Otherwise the liquid can run out and damage 
other objects! Spilled liquids could injure you!

 

·

Do not drop the airpot.

 

·

CAUTION! Do not fill the airpot with carbona-
ted liquids, as this could cause over pressure!

 

·

Fill the airpot only up to 4 cm below the neck.

 

·

Do not store dairy products or baby food in the 
airpot (risk of bacteria growth).

 

·

Never place the airpot on hot surfaces, in the 
microwave or in a conventional oven. The pro-
duct can be damaged as a result.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

 

·

Before initial use and after longer disuse, rin-
se thorougly with hot water and washing up 
liquid.

 

·

When not using the airpot for longer periods of 
time, store it empty, clean and open.

 

·

For effective use of the airpot, it should be 
preheated or pre-cooled before filling.

 

·

Note: Use no ice cubes! These can damage 
the glass insert when filling in the pot!

OPEN

 

·

To open the airpot press the two side buttons 
on the spout at the same time inward.

 

·

Then fold the lid of the airpot upwards and re-
move the suction tube.

 

·

After filling the airpot, insert the suction tube 
and close the cover until it snaps.

 

·

ATTENTION: When you open the pot, the pump 
button in the lid should be locked! (Grips of the 
pump button in right position in pot front view) 
to prevent unintentional leakage of residual 
liquid from the lid.

FILLING

 

·

The pump button in the lid features a locking 
mechanism.

 

·

If the grips on the pump button in right posi-
tion are in pot front view, the button is locked 
and can not push down.No pumps possible.

 

·

A slight rotation unlock the pump button to the 
left, the grips are in middle position, the pump 
button can be depressed now.

POURING

 

·

To pour out liquid, place a suitable container 
under the drain..

 

·

Press and hold the push-button on the screw-
on lid to pour.

 

·

When finished release the push-button.

CLEANING AND CARE

 

·

Clean the airpot after each use with warm wa-
ter and a mild washing up liquid. Afterwards 
rinse with warm water. Then dry it off with a 
soft cloth.

 

·

Clean the inside of the airpot regularly with a 
solution of baking soda and hot water in or-
der to remove any discolouration. Allow the 
baking soda/water mixture to soak for at least 
1 hour. Then rinse out the airpot with clean 
water.

 

·

Never use scouring and bleaching agents to 
clean the product!

 

·

Do not immerse the airpot in water and never 
put it in a dishwasher.

 

·

In order to keep your stainless steel airpot shi-
ning, we recommend you to use a stainless 
steel cleanser.

SAFETY NOTES GLASS INSERT

 

·

Never use hard objects in the interior of an 
airpot with glass insert (dishwashing brush, 
spoon for stirring, tea eggs or similar).

 

·

Do not strike the airpot against other objects; 
always set the flask down gently.

 

·

Small damages do not necessarily cause the 
glass to break immediately; it may occur at a 
later time, such as when filling with hot be-
verages.
