MULTI FUEL USE – ADD CORN TO THE MIX

The Hastings is now approved to burn a mixture of pellets and corn (maximum 50%
corn). Operation of the stove doesn’t change burning a mixture of pellets and corn. The
burn pot will need to be cleaned on a daily basis, using the “Pot Scraper Tool” shown in
figure 3 on page 8. Use the Pot Scraper Tool to remove any clinkers that build up
because of the corn. All other maintenance schedules remain the same.
