Assembly Instructions
1
The Sockets should be installed by a specialist using the following guidelines,
please contact your distributor for recommended specialist fitting engineers.
2
Drill a 49.0mm to 50.0mm diameter hole 290mm deep from the floor surface.
Socket Installation
4
Ensure that the sockets are perpendicular and use Nitomorta PE Resin (or
equivalent) to fix the sockets into the concrete. Allow the fixing agent to fully
set before inserting the posts.
5
For sprung floors fit a cork surround between the floor and the socket, and for
solid floors, fit flexible mastic between the socket and floor in a colour
matching the sportshall floor.
3
Adjust the bolt at the bottom of the socket to take up any discrepancy in the
drilled depth.
Using The Posts
1
When the sockets have fully set in place, insert the posts. Attach one end of the
net over the pulley wheel on one post and thread through the cleat so that it
grips into the teeth. Take the other end of the net and pass over the pulley wheel,
while taking up as much slack in the net as possible, attach to the cleat so that it
tensions on the teeth. If more tension is required the net can be pulled down and re-
tensioned into the camcleats.
2
The net should be 1.524m at the centre of the net, to the floor at the centre of
the court, and 1.55m where it crosses the side lines for doubles.
3
To release the tension on the net pull the net rope upwards so that its released
from the teeth of the camcleat.
4
When the posts are removed from the sockets for storage, insert the drop in
lids to cover the hole in the sportshall floor. To remove the lids insert a
screwdriver or similar tool into the lid hole and lift out.
