Installing the drives
Install the MediaStore drives.
NOTE:
When installing a drive, ensure that the adjacent drive is fully installed. Inserting
a drive carrier and attempting to lock its handle next to a partially installed carrier can
damage the partially installed carrier's shield spring and make it unusable.
NOTE:
To maintain proper system cooling, all externally accessible drive bays must be
populated with a drive carrier.
1. Press the blue release button inward to unlatch the drive carrier, and then pull open the lever.
2. Insert the drive carrier into the bay, sliding the drive until it contacts the backplane.
NOTE:
The drive tray is in the correct position when its front edge lines up with the
edge of the drive bay.
3. Close the drive carrier release handle to lock the drive into place.
