Configuring the Integrated BMC Web Console
The Integrated BMC Web Console is an interface that provides you with control of the device server
including remote console access, power cycle, and hardware monitoring logs. You need to configure the
login credentials and assign an IP address on which to access the BMC interface.
1. Connect the BMC port to the Management Network as shown below.
Result:
The LED on the BMC Management Ethernet socket will turn on once the connection is
successfully established.
2. Set up the IP access to the BMC Web Console.
a. Go into the BIOS configuration screen during the device server boot up (click F2 during server
boot-up), and then enter the
Server Management
tab.
