OPENING THE SWING-AWAY

Pull the T-handle. Grasp the lift firmly and 

swing it out, away from the vehicle.  

See Figure 3-10

The Swing-Away opens up from the closed position 

to allow full access to the vehicle’s cargo area.

NOTE: On the AL105L model, the platform must be pushed 

down and away from the vehicle to release the latching 

mechanism. 

See Figure 3-11.

ONLY open the Swing-Away on level ground. 
Failure to open the Swing-Away on level ground 
may result in losing control of the lift, resulting in 
personal injury or damage to property.
