CHANGES
Issue: Field reports indicate that approximately 33% of the fixtures have a red dot issue in the lens array when
the power cable is connected.
The issue is only of cosmetic matter. There is no risk of personal injury or damage to the product.
Typical fault signs: In the lens array, you can see one or two, very dimmed, red LEDs when the power cable is connected.
Solution: Rearranging the internal wiring. The black wires (LED power) are too close to the coil next to the
connector for the red LED string. Due to electrical induction, a current will flow in the LED circuit and the
LED will glow slightly. Follow the instructions in “Procedure on solving the red dot issue” on page 4
on how to rearrange the black wires in order to prevent the induction effect and thereby, resolve the red
dot issue.
Terms: We recommend that the fixture is modified according to the “Procedure on solving the red dot issue” on
page 4 in connection with recommended preventive maintenance or standard repair.
