Notes
Unsolicited Status
Enable the NVR to send a periodic status packet to the
Send Status Address
described below.
Send Status Address
When
Unsolicited Status
is enabled, the NVR sends a
periodic status packet to the IP address specified here.
Gen1 Status Packet
Enable to cause the reporting status to be compatible
with older SVSI equipment.
Status Interval (secs)
Determine how often (in seconds) the unit transmits
status packets.
Auto Delete MB Limit
If you would like for recordings to be automatically
deleted once a space limit is reached (in MB), select a
limit from this drop-down box. Older recordings are
deleted first.
TTL
Select the Time To Live (TTL) for the transmit audio and
video streams.
Limits the lifespan of data on the transmit audio and
video streams (to improve performance).
VLAN Tagging
Enable to have the NVR insert a VLAN identification
number into the packet headers (in order to identify
which VLAN the packet belongs to). The
VLAN #
setting
determines what number is inserted.
SNMP Enable
Enable to allow the NVR to be monitored via SNMP
(Simple Network Management Protocol).
VLAN #
Enter the VLAN identification number. If
VLAN
Tagging
is enabled, this number is added to the packet headers
for packet identification purposes.
MPEG Conversions add
timestamp
When converting recordings to MPEG or MOV files, you
can enable this option to allow a time stamp to be
appended to the newly-converted file’s name.
The
MPEG Conversions append description
option
must be enabled for the time stamp to appear in the
new filename.

can enable this option to allow the recording’s stream
number to be appended to the newly-converted file’s
name.
