My Invoke doesn’t respond when I say “Hey Cortana” If you’ve set up your Invoke successfully and it still
isn’t responding, make sure it isn’t muted. Look for
the Microphone On/Off button on the back of your
device.
I see more than one Invoke device when I’m trying
to set up. Which one is mine?
The box your Invoke came in has a sticker with a
MAC address. The last 5 digits of the MAC address
is the name of your Invoke. If you pick one and
don’t hear a sound from your Invoke, you may have
chosen the wrong one.
I don’t see my Invoke in the device list during setup. Make sure your Invoke is ready for setup by holding
down the Microphone On / Off button for 5
seconds. If that doesn’t help, try closing the Cortana
app on your device and starting again.
My Invoke is unable to connect to my Wi-Fi network. The Invoke may not work on most Enterprise
networks or captive portals used in public locations
like hotels, airplanes, or coffee shops because of
network security policies.
The Invoke will work on most Wi-Fi of the common
network settings in the US.
The Invoke supports the following:

Broadcast or Hidden Networks
•
Open networks
•
WPA / WPA2 secure networks
•
WEP on default channel 0 (non-standard for a
consumer to change the channel)
