Double Deck Unit Installation 

5.2.1

 

Single Packaging 

 

1.  Using tin snips or a similar cutting tool, cut the metal packing 

straps.  Care should be taken as the straps are under tension 
and may snap when cut. 

2.  Lower the 2 built-in ramps and remove all wrapping from the 

rotisserie.  Care should be taken not to scratch any surfaces 
if a knife is being used.   

3.  Remove all accessories and loose items from in and around 

the equipment and place them aside.  

4.  Remove  any  wood  blocks  around  the  (optional)  casters  that 

might  hinder  rolling  the  rotisserie 

forward

  off  of the  pallet  as 

shown in Figure 5-6.  Do not remove the wooden rails on the 
floor of the pallet. 

 

 

 

 

MOVING  THE  ROTISSERIE  OFF  THE  PALLET 
REQUIRES  A  4  PERSON  TEAM  AS  THE  WEIGHT  OF 
THE UNIT IS AROUND 850 LBS.  

CARE  MUST  BE  TAKEN  NOT  TO  OVER  EXERT 
PRESSURE 

ON

HANDLING THE ROTISSERIE. 

 

5.  Unlock the front casters then slowly guide the rotisserie down 

the ramp and onto the floor.  During this step, it is important 
that  one  person  hold  the  top  of  the  oven  to  prevent  it  from 
tipping.  See Figure 5-7. 

 

 

6.  Inspect the rotisserie for any remaining plastic left over from the 

manufacturing  and  packing  process  and  remove  if  found.    Be 
sure to remove the protective foam blocks from the glass doors 
as well as the plastic tie wrap that is securing the drive unit in it 
socket.  See Figure 5-8. 

7.  Position  the  rotisserie  in  its  intended  operation  area  and  lock 

the front casters if applicable 

8.  Verify  that  the  rotisseries  are  level  from front  to back  and  side 

to  side.    Raise  or  lower  the  caster  wheels  to  level  the  unit  if 
necessary.  See Figure 5-9 on page 13.
