TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

ACTION

The motor will not start.

The plug is not plugged in, or the fuse has 
tripped.

Check the fuse and/or replace the fuse.  
The fuses are located under the main panel.

The door will not open with the remote 
control.

The remote control is not correctly paired  
with the motor, or the setting under menu 5 
is wrong.

See the instructions for pairing the remote 
control and for setting 5.

The remote control has a short range.

Discharged battery, or interference.

Replace battery. If this does not help there 
is probably interference from other wireless 
appliances.

The chain moves, but not the door.

The runner is not locked at the chain.

Move the door so that the runner locks at 
the chain.

The motor runs, but the chain does not 
move.

The chain has jumped off the sprocket.

Put the chain on the sprocket (over the 
motor).

The door closes by itself.

Automatic closing is activated.

Deactivate the function for automatic closing 
as described in the instructions.

Incorrect top or bottom position for 
the door.

Programming error.

Follow the programming instructions.

The door is not working properly and H 
is shown in the display.

Data error as a result of moisture.

Try allowing the motor to dry. If this does not 
help, replace the electronics. Contact your 
dealer.

The chain is not tensioned and the 
bearings are making a noise.

Slack chain.

Tension the chain with the tensioning nut on 
the front end of the rail.

The door does not stop in the bottom 
position, but goes up again.

The bottom position of the door (menu 2) is 
set too close to the floor.

The door must not press against the floor 
in closed position. Leave at least 1 mm of 
free space, or fit a soft rubber strip, on the 
bottom edge of the door.

The door does not go all the way to 
the top or bottom position, but stops 
and changes direction. F is shown on 
the display, even though there is no 
obstruction.

Too little resistance tolerance.

Program the resistance tolerance up and 
down (menu 3).

The motor beeps.

The reminder signal is activated.

See instructions to set reminder signal.

The remote control does not work.

The remote control has been reset because S 
was not pressed.

Reprogram the remote control.

The setting in Menu 5 has been changed.

Follow the instructions to reset.
