WARNING
: Note the duty factor for the product: 20%. This means that the product must cool for 48
seconds after every 12 seconds of use.

1.
Check that the rated voltage on the type plate corresponds to the mains supply voltage.
2.
Check that the soldering tip is correctly fitted and the locking screw tightened.
3.
Plug in the power cord.
4.
Switch off the product, unplug the power cord and allow the product to cool before changing the
soldering tip. Undo the locking screw and carefully pull out the tip. Insert a new tip as far as it will
go and tighten the locking screw.
5.
Do not heat up the soldering pencil unless the tip is fitted.
6.
Allow the product to cool after use. Never cool the product with water, or the like.The power cord
can withstand brief contact with warm metal parts. The power cord is not replaceable. The whole
product must be disposed of if the power cord is damaged.
Use
1.
Check that the product has sufficient power for the hot parts to be joined.
2.
Clean the parts that are to be joined. Do not touch the cleaned parts, grease reduces the adhesion
of the solder.
3.
Heat up the parts and apply the solder. If the parts are properly cleaned and heated the solder will
be evenly dispersed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the product does not work, check the fuse and that the mains outlet is supplied with voltage. The
product does not have any parts that can be repaired by the user. Contact your dealer in the event of any
problems.
