• Check the product parts at regular
intervals.
• Store the product protected from rain,
snow or direct sunlight.
STORAGE
• Products made entirely or in part from
thermoplastic, thermoset or reinforced
plastic material should be stored out of
reach of direct sunlight.
• Take the following into consideration
when storing products not in use.
– Store the product in a safe place
(protected from moisture, heat,
weather and wind).
– Store the product in a position where
it cannot be deformed (hanging on
suitable brackets or lying flat on a
clean surface).
– Store the product where it cannot be
damaged by a vehicle, heavy objects
or impurities.
– Store the product so that it is not an
obstruction and there is no risk of
tripping over it.
– Store the product so it cannot be
used by unauthorised persons.
Check that the surface under
the step ladder/stool is free
from contamination.
Do not step off sideways from
the step ladder/stool.
Inspect the step ladder/stool
before use.

USE
• The product should be placed on a
smooth, level and stable footing.
• When positioning the product, take into
consideration the risk of collision with
pedestrians, vehicles or doors. Lock doors
(not emergency exits) and windows in the
work area, where possible.
• Stand the product on its feet and do not
rest it on a step.
• The product must not be placed on
slippery surfaces (for example, ice, glossy
or heavily soiled surfaces) unless
additional measures are taken to prevent
it from slipping, or before making sure
that the surface is sufficiently clean.
• Do not exceed the maximum load for the
product.
• The product should only be used for
simple jobs for short periods.
• Take precautions to prevent children
playing on the product.
