staples into the Magazine (47). NOTE: The Magazine will hold a maximum of
100 nails/staples. (See Figure G.)
5.
Depress the Lever (1), and push the Magazine (47) all the way forward. Make
sure the Lever locks in place at the rear of the Magazine. (See Figure G.)
To Operate The Nailer/Stapler:
1.
Slide the Battery (26) onto the rear of the Nailer/Stapler. Then, turn the Power
Switch (29) to its “ON” position. (See Figure H.)
2.
To fire, place the Nose Plate (40) of the Nailer/Stapler on the workpiece. The
Nailer/Stapler should not fire if the Nose Plate is not depressed. Once depressed,
gently and briefly squeeze the Trigger (19) once. Do not fire repeatedly. Staples
could bounce off of one another, damaging the workpiece or causing personal
injury. (See Figure H.)
3.
NOTE: The Knob (8) is a depth adjustment. Turn the Knob
clockwise to drive a
nail/staple into the workpiece
deeper. Turn the Knob counterclockwise to drive a
nail/staple into the workpiece
shallower. (See Figure H.)
4.
Do not press the Nose Plate (40) against the workpiece with extra force. Allow
the tool to do the work. Always allow the tool to recoil off the work surface.
(See Figure H.)
5.
When finished using the Nailer/Stapler, always turn its Power Switch (29) to its
“OFF” position and remove the Battery (26). Empty the Magazine (47) completely
of nails/staples. Attempt to fire the Nailer/Stapler into a piece of scrap wood to
ensure it is disconnected and is incapable of firing any nails/staples.
(See Figure H.)
6.
Make sure to store the Nailer/Stapler in a clean, dry, safe location out of reach of
children and other unauthorized people.
