Claw Mechanism

This Flooring Jack is designed to hold
flooring strips in place.
It can be used to help straighten warped,

bowed and/or crooked flooring.
When starting at a straight line (usually

snapped onto the sub-floor with a chalk line),
nail or glue down the first flooring strip.
note:

The starting line should be close
enough to the wall so that a strip of finish
molding will cover whatever gap exists
between the wall and the first strip.
Use the Flooring Jack to apply tension to

additional wooden flooring strips as they are
joined to the first strip.
Use only enough pressure to hold each

additional strip in place for nailing or gluing.
note:

If you are using the Flooring Jack to
straighten warped, bowed or crooked flooring
strips, additional force can be applied.
To release the Jack, raise the handle fully
8.
forward to disengage the pawls. The bar is
then manually retracted.
When finished with the Flooring Jack, store it
9.
inside in a dry area, away from children.
