before set up or use of
this product.
This Helicopter is intended for indoor
use. Select a location, indoors,
away from strong air currents,
such as air conditioners, fans or
open windows on windy days.
Because this is an infrared unit,
it needs a direct line of sight from
the remote to the Helicopter.
Do not operate in direct sun or strong
lighting as this may affect the control
system and interfere with operation.
Do not cover the lens of the transmitter.
There will be no signal between the
Remote Control and the Helicopter.
Flying area should be at least
20 by 20 feet and 10 feet tall.
Installing Remote
Control Batteries
Before first use and when the
batteries need to be changed,
install six “AA” batteries.
To install the batteries:
1. Unthread and remove the screw
holding the battery cover in place on
the back of the Remote Control.
2. Remove the battery cover and insert
six “AA” batteries (sold separately),
being careful to position the
batteries in the proper polarity.
3. Replace the battery cover and
secure in place with the screw.
Charging Helicopter
Batteries
1. Turn the Helicopter Power Switch OFF.
2. Connect power to the Helicopter
following the instructions
in A or B below:
a. Connect the Charging Wire
from the Remote Control (with
batteries installed) to the Charging
Port of the Helicopter. Turn
on the Remote Control Power
Switch. During charging the
Remote Control is orange.
b. Connect the USB cable from
a powered USB port to the
Charging Port of the Helicopter.
During charging the light on
the USB cable will be off.
3. Wait 30 to 40 minutes.
4. When the helicopter is fully charged,
the Remote Control light will
change to red, or the USB cable
light will turn on, depending on the
charging method you are using.
5. If charging with the USB cable,
disconnect the USB cable and store in
a safe place.
If charging with the Remote Control,
turn off the Remote Control and
disconnect the Charging Wire
from the Helicopter. Wind up the
Charging Wire and store it in the
compartment in the Remote Control.
