Troubleshooting table
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
The selected pro-
gramme will not start
or it stops.
The dishwasher’s door is not
closed properly.
Close the dishwasher door.
The water tap is not properly
on.
Turn the water tap on com-
pletely.
The inlet hose is defective.
Contact our service team (see
page EN-32).
There is a risk of overflowing.
The electrical water stop sys-
tem has been activated.
The display (22) is
illuminated although
dishwasher salt has
been added.
The dishwasher salt is clumpy.
Stir the dishwasher salt using
the end of a spoon or similar.
The water is not run-
ning or it is running
only very slowly.
There is a kink in the inlet
hose.
Arrange the inlet hose prop-
erly so that it is not kinked
(please see „Connecting the
inlet hose“ on page EN-25).
The water tap is not properly
on.
Turn the water tap on com-
pletely.
The water is not run-
ning off or only very
slowly.
The filters are blocked.
Clean the filters (see „Clean-
ing the filters“ on page EN-21).
The outlet hose is kinked, has
been extended or is hanging
too high up/too low.
Lay out the outlet hose in the
proper manner (see page
EN-24).
The dishwasher is not
watertight.
The door seal is defective.
Have the door seal replaced
(see „Service“ on page EN-32).
The outlet hose or the inlet
hose is defective.
Have the defective hose re-
placed (see „Service“ on page
EN-32).
The dishwasher can
be switched on/off,
but not cannot be op-
erated.
The dishwasher can only be
operated when the door is
closed.
Close the door.

The buttons are locked.
Unlock the buttons (see „But-

The door opens by it-
self.
This is not an error. The door will open by itself at the end of a pro-
gramme (except for pre-rinse because this programme does not
include main wash and drying). This helps ensure optimal drying
results.
