10. Attach the exhaust air hose opening with
a diameter of 150 mm (see marking on
the hose) to the wall/ceiling outlet.
11. Remove the blue protective film.
12. Connect the mains plug to a properly in-
stalled socket.

Inserting activated charcoal
filters for air recirculation
A carbon filter (odour filter) is filled with acti-
vated carbon which reduces kitchen fumes
during cooking. If used frequently, you should
change the filters regularly. See also section
„Replacing the activated charcoal filter“ on
page GB-18.

1. Lift up the exhaust hood cover (8).

2. Slide the grease filter lock (9) sideways
and carefully remove the grease fil-
ter (10).
