Care and maintenance
WARNING

Improper use of this appliance can lead
to damage to health.

Clean the appliance regularly and re-
move any traces of food leftovers im-
mediately.
■
Cleaning and user maintenance must
not be carried out by children without
supervision.
Risk of electric shock!
Touching live parts may result in severe
injury or death.
■
Before cleaning, unplug the mains
plug from the socket or isolate the
fuse. Always hold the mains plug it-
self, not the mains cable.
■
Make sure that no cleaning water or
other liquids penetrate into the ven-
tilation slots and into the electrical
parts.
■
A steam cleaner is not to be used
for cleaning. Steam can get into live
components through cracks.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
The appliance and its accessible parts
become hot during use.

Allow the appliance to cool complete-
ly prior to cleaning it.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The surfaces and door seals can get
damaged by improper handling.
■
Never use harsh, soda, acid, solvent or
abrasive cleaners. All-purpose cleaners
with a neutral pH are recommended.
■
Use care products only on the outer
surfaces.
■
Only use soft cloths.
Cleaning the appliance
The appliance must be cleaned after every
use. Dirt can otherwise dry on.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down.
3. Clean the unit housing by using a moist,
soft cloth, paying particular attention to
the cooking chamber floor and cooking
chamber door sealing surfaces. Please
use warm washing-up water or all-pur-
pose cleaner as well as a soft sponge or
cloth.
4. Remove any stubborn stains with undi-
luted all-purpose cleaner and wipe away
using a soft, moist cloth.
5. Put the turntable (3) in the dishwasher or
wash it by hand with soapy water.
6. Please ensure to dry all surfaces after
cleaning with a soft cloth.
7. Leave the cooking chamber door (1) open
to allow the cooking chamber to dry out
completely.
