The appliance door is not properly closed Close the door properly until you hear a
“click”.

Problem with the water inlet:
– Tap is closed Open tap
– Inlet hose is kinked Check inlet hose; dismantle and realign, if
necessary
– Inlet hose is clogged Clean filter in the inlet hose (see page EN-29)
– Filter at the inlet is clogged Clean filter at the inlet (see page EN-29)
E21
The water does not drain away Check whether the drainage hose is
clogged or bent.
Check whether the lint trap is clogged (see
“Cleaning the lint trap” on page EN-30).
E12
Too much water in the appliance Pump out the water (see page EN-23)
Switch the appliance off after the water has
been pumped out and pull out the plug.
Close the tap and contact the service de-
partment (see page EN-41).
