6. Place a bowl of hot, but not boiling, wa-
ter in the freezer. This will accelerate the
defrosting process.
7. Leave the freezer door (5) open while
defrosting and place a cloth in front of
the appliance to catch defrost water
which may come out.
8. The defrosting time depends on the
thickness of the ice layer. Experience
dictates that it is possible to start clean-
ing after approx. 1 hour.
9. Return the food to the fridge or freezer
after cleaning.
10. Insert the mains plug back into the sock-
et and set the temperature controller (1)
to the lowest temperature.
11. As soon as a temperature of –18 °C is
reached, set the desired temperature
again on the temperature controller (1).
Interior lighting

Maintenance-free LEDs are used to light the
appliance. If the interior lighting does not
