Dishwasher operation
Selecting and starting the
dishwashing programme
It is recommended that you carry out
a test run before the fi rst dishwasher
cycle in order to remove residues from the
manufacturing process and in order to ensure
that the appliance functions perfectly. Carry
out this test run when the dishwasher is
empty and without any dishwasher detergent.
1. Select the suitable dishwashing pro-
gramme based on the ‘programme table’,
see page EN-21.
2. Press the
P
(2) button as often as required
until the display (5) shows the desired
programme duration (4).
3. Close the door to start the wash
programme.
During the programme cycle the two dots
between the hour and the minute will
flash in the display (5).
4. When the programme has finished,
a signal tone will sound eight times.
Now turn off the water tap and press the
(1) button to switch off the dishwasher.
5. Continue with “Unloading the dishwasher”
on page EN-25.
Delayed start
The washing cycle will normally begin as
soon as the appliance door has been closed.
If you want the cycle to begin later, you can
specify this. The start time can be delayed
between 1 and 24 hours.
• Press the button (3) as many times as
necessary for the display (5) to show the
delay required (
H:00
,
H:01
to
H:24
).
Additional options
You can combine the various dishwash-
ing programmes with additional options.
The additional options must be selected be-
fore starting the dishwashing programme.
– “Intensive cleaning” (6):
This option allows you to further improve
the cleaning results.
– “Extra-dry” (7):
This option produces an improved drying
result.
– “Saving energy” (9):
This option reduces the energy consump-
tion. It is recommended for crockery with
minimal staining.
– “Quick wash” (10)
This option shortens the programme cycle.
It is recommended for crockery with mini-
mal staining.
• To switch the option
– on, press the button

desired symbol appears on the display.
– off, press the button again. The indicator
will go out.
This option is not available with the pro-
grammes , and .
Selecting spraying arm(s)
If only one of the two dish racks is loaded,
you should deactivate the spraying arm which
you do not require.
– Upper dish rack loaded:
– Lower dish rack loaded:
• Press the button (15) as many times
as necessary until only the symbol for the
spraying arm you require lights up.
