Dishwasher operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety” from page EN-4, in
particular the safety instructions.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “Installation, con-
nection and initial commissioning” from
page EN-30.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multi-tabs.
Preparation
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Close the appliance door.
3. Press the button (18) to switch on the
dishwasher. You will hear a beep, and all
LEDs will illuminate briefly.
After a short time, the programme indica-
tor
ECO
will light up.
Selecting the dishwashing
programme
It is recommended that you carry out
a test run before the first dishwasher
cycle in order to remove residues from
the manufacturing process and in order to
ensure that the appliance functions perfectly.
Carry out this test run when the dishwasher
is empty and without any dishwasher deter-
gent.
1. Select the suitable dishwashing pro-
gramme based on the “programme table”,
see page EN-20.

2. Press the
P
button (13) repeatedly until
the desired programme indicator (1) and
programme duration (6) are shown on the
display.
3. For the washing programme,
– if you wish to make further adjust-
ments, continue with “Cleaning dish-
es in your appliance generally uses
less energy and water than washing
by hand, provided you follow the in-
structions in the user manual.”.
– if you wish to launch it, continue
with “Starting the dishwashing pro-
gramme” on page EN-23.
Protecting the environment
– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, energy
and water can be saved (see “Loading
the dishwasher” on page EN-16).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads
to higher water and energy consumption
and is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow the
instructions in the user manual.
Additional options
You can combine the various dishwashing
programmes with additional options. The
additional options must be selected before
starting the dishwashing programme.
