Operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety” from page EN-4, in
particular all the safety notices.
• Set up and connect the appliance as de-
scribed in chapter “Before starting to use
the appliance” from page EN-24.
Whenever a button is pressed, you
will hear a beep sound.

Switching on for the first time
The first time the mains plug is connected to a
power source, you will hear a beep and, for a
few seconds, all the indicators on the display
will light up:

A few seconds later, this display will appear
and you will hear a beep:
If you do not input anything else, the display
fades out after a couple of seconds.
Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer.

Always ensure the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature is maintained (see
“Intended use” on page EN-4).
You must set the temperature before you can
use the appliance.
