Solutions and tips
The freezer isn’t

the mains socket.

Your frozen food will remain sufficiently cooled
for 16 hours if there is a mains failure.
The freezer cools
excessively.
The temperature controller
is set too high.
Turn the temperature controller down.
The freezer tem-
perature is too
high.
The compressor starts too
late.
If the compressor starts too late, turn the tem-
perature controller to ‘MAX’.
If the temperature controller is defective, contact
our Technical Service.
The adjacent side
of an appliance or
a piece of furniture
next to the freezer
is heating up.
Due to high outside tem-
peratures (e.g. in sum-
mer), the freezer needs
work especially hard to
cool and can thus become
very hot.
Opening the door fre-
quently can cause the
freezer to work extra hard
to maintain the temper-
ature and can therefore
cause the freezer to heat
up considerably.
If necessary, position the freezer in such a man-
ner that warm air can escape better.
You know that the
electricity will soon
go out or is to be
turned off.
Set the temperature controller to
‘MAX’
. Do not
open the door more often than necessary.
