Dishwasher operation
Before getting started
• Read the ‘Safety’ chapter from page EN-4,
and understand in particular all the safety
notices.
• Set up and connect the appliance as de-
scribed in chapter “Installation, connection
and initial commissioning” on page EN-26
from page EN-26.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multi-tabs.
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Close the dishwasher door.
3. Press the On/Off button (1) in order to
switch on the dishwashers.
You will hear a signal tone and all LEDs will
illuminate briefly.
After a short time, the programme display
reading
ECO
(11) will show.

It is recommended that you carry out
a test run before the
fi
rst dishwasher
cycle in order to remove residues from
the manufacturing process and in order to
ensure that the appliance functions perfectly.
Carry out this test run when the dishwasher
is empty and without any dishwasher
detergent.

1. Select the suitable dishwashing pro-
gramme based on the “programme table”,
see page EN-20.
2. Press the
P
(5) button as often as required
until the display reading shows under the
desired programme symbol.
The display shows the programme duration.
3. Press the button (6) to start the dish-
washing programme.
The display shows the remaining duration of
the current programme. The colon between
the hour and minute number will flash to
show that the programme is running.
Once the programme has finished, a signal
tone will sound and the LED to the right of the
programme symbol will stop flashing.
If no further settings are made, the appliance
will automatically switch off after 15 minutes.
Protecting the environment
– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, energy
and water can be saved (see “Loading the
dishwasher” on page EN-17).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption and
is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow the
instructions in the user manual.
