Set-up, connection and initial start-up
Choosing a suitable location
CAUTION!

The appliance is heavy and bulky.
Improper handling of the appliance
may lead to injuries.

Seek the help of another person during
transport, installation and assembly.
■
If a trolley is used to move the appli-
ance, the appliance must be moved
as shown on the packaging.
■
Only lift the appliance as shown on
the packaging.
■
Remove all obstacles on the transport
route and from the installation location,
e.g. open doors and clear away ob-
jects lying on the fl oor.
The planned location must fulfil the following
prerequisites:
– The location must be a dry and frost-safe
room with a firm ground.
– In order to install the connection pipes,
the dishwasher must be positioned near to
a washing/dishwashing basin or the floor
drain.
Positioning
You can position the dishwasher in two ways:
– as a freestanding appliance in the room.
The space requirement corresponds to the
aforementioned appliance dimensions.
– built under a worktop. In this case,
you must take the required recess dimen-
sions into consideration.
• Remove cardboard, polystyrene and ad-
hesive strips from the inside of the dish-
washer, if you have not already done so.

Appliance measurements
1. Place the dishwasher in the desired
position.

2. To equalise unevenness in the floor and
set up the dishwasher on a level horizon-
tal base, you can screw the two adjusta-
ble (36) feet in or out. The adjustable feet
have slots around their circumference.
Insert a screwdriver and turn the adjusta-
ble foot.
Use a spirit level to set up the dishwasher.
