Requirements for safe use
– You have read chapter „For your safety“ on
page EN-5 and understand all the safety
notices.
– The appliance is installed and connected
as described in chapter „Start-up“ on page
EN-21.
Commissioning the appliance
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
If the appliance has been transported
horizontally, lubricant from the
compressor may make its way into the
cooling circuit.

If possible, do not tilt the cooling
appliance horizontally.
■
Allow the appliance to stand upright
for 2 hours before starting it up. This
is to ensure that the lubricant has
enough time to flow back into the
compressor.
The appliance is factory-set to switch
on automatically when you first insert
the mains plug into the socket.
• Switch off the fuse for the mains socket
to which the refrigerator is connected. A
signal tone will sound, and the refrigerator
light (7) will illuminate when the door is
opened.

• Press and hold the Adjust button (1) for 5
seconds.
A signal tone will sound and the refriger-
ator light (7) will illuminate. The appliance
is switched on.
If the appliance makes disturbing nois-
es after it is switched on, check that it
is in a stable position and correctly in-
stalled.

ator light (7) will go out. The appliance is
switched off.
2. Empty the appliance and clean it as
described in chapter „Care and mainte-
nance“ on page EN-18.
