2. Add the desired quantity of
ground coffee.
3. Close the water tank lid. It
must click audibly into place.
We recommend using
one level coff ee scoop of
medium- to fi ne-ground coff ee
per normal sized cup (approx.
125 ml). For larger cups, please
use a heaped scoop.
Brewing coffee
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
When the coffee machine is
in use, hot steam will come
out of it which will lead to
scalding if it comes into con-
tact with unprotected skin.

Do not leave the lid open
during operation.
■
Do not touch the lid or
reach just above it during
operation.
■
Avoid any contact with the
hot water fl owing from the
outlet.

You can choose whether you
would like your coffee
– brewed immediately
or
– brewed at a preset start time.
Immediate brewing
Requirement: The mains plug is
connected to a properly installed
and easily accessible socket.
1. Press the button (5) until the
cup symbol appears on the
display (7).
The brewing process will start.
2. When the coffee stops flowing,
the brewing process has fin-
ished.
