Switching on for the first time
When the appliance is switched on the first
time, the standard temperature setting is
+4 °C for the fridge and –18 °C for the freezer.
All indicators on the display will also illuminate
for a couple of seconds; the control panel is
locked.
Setting the temperature in the
fridge
The fridge temperature can be set between
+2 °C and +8 °C.
1. Press the button (21) repeatedly until
the indicator (19) lights up on the dis-
play (22).
2. Press the TEMP button (23) repeatedly
until the desired temperature is shown on
the display (22).

The temperature is reduced by 1 °C each
time you press the button. If the setting rea-
ches +2 °C, it jumps back to +8 °C the next
time you press the button.
The ideal fridge temperature is +6 °C.
Setting the temperature in the
freezer
The freezer temperature can be set between
–16 °C and –24 °C.
1. Press the button (21) repeatedly until the
indicator (20) lights up.
2. Press the TEMP button (23) repeatedly
until the desired temperature is shown on
the display (22).

The temperature is reduced by 1 °C each
time you press the button. If the setting re-
aches –24 °C, it jumps back to –16 °C the
next time you press the button.
The ideal freezer temperature is –18 °C.
Setting the operating modes
The appliance is equipped with three opera-
ting modes: Quick refrigerating, quick freezing
and holiday mode.
Activating quick refrigerating
The “Quick refrigerating” operating mode ra-
pidly cools the fridge to +2 °C.
• Press the MODE button (24) repeatedly
until the “Quick refrigerating active” in-
dicator (27) lights up.
The temperature indicator on the dis-
play (22) will switch to +2 °C.
Activating quick freezing
The “Quick freezing” operating mode rapidly
cools the freezer to –24 °C.
• Press the MODE button (24) repeatedly
until the “Quick freezing active” indica-
tor (25) lights up.
The temperature indicator on the dis-
play (22) will switch to –24 °C.
Deactivating quick refrigerating or
quick freezing
– Quick refrigerating is automatically deacti-
vated after 3 hours.
– Quick freezing is automatically deactivated
after 52 hours.
• To manually deactivate the quick refri-
gerating or quick freezing mode, press
the MODE button (24) repeatedly until
the “Quick refrigerating active” indi-
cator (27), “Quick freezing active indi-
cator (25), and “Holiday mode active”
indicator (26) all stop illuminating.
The respective temperature indicator will
return to the original setting.
