Safety
■
Once the fi re has been extinguished,
have the appliance checked by our
service team (see „Our Service Cen-
tre“ on page GB-21).
■
If the external cooling fan is broken,
the appliance can quickly overheat,
which can This can cause more dam-
age to the appliance and set fi re to
any nearby fl ammable objects. In
such an event, immediately switch
off the appliance, open the oven door
and stop using the cooker!
Risk of burns!
During its use, the device and its ex-
posed parts can become hot.
■
Caution should be exercised not to
touch the heating elements, walls,
baking trays, etc.
■
Children aged 8 years or younger
must be kept away from the appli-
ance, unless they are under constant
supervision.
■
Hot steam can fl ow from the extrac-
tion hood (ventilation) when the oven
is in use. Exercise caution when open-
ing the hot appliance!
■
Never pour water directly into the
hot appliance. The steam can cause
scalding and damage the enamel.
■
Allow hot water from the appliance
to cool before pouring it out.
■
Never leave the appliance unattend-
ed while grilling. Keep children away!
■
Allow the appliance to cool complete-
ly before cleaning.
Health hazard!
■
Do not defrost meat and fi sh in the
appliance. Take the frozen food out
of the freezer ahead of time and let
it defrost in the refrigerator. The fl u-
id from the frozen food must be able
to properly drain, otherwise harmful
microorganisms can form.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
■
For cleaning purposes, do not use
any harsh, abrasive cleaning agents
or scouring agents, steel wool, met-
al scrapers, oven sprays, steam clean-
ers or high-pressure cleaners! They
can damage the surface and destroy
the glass. High-pressure cleaners can
cause a short circuit.
■
Do not place baking trays or alumini-
um foil directly on the bottom of the
cooking compartment. It may cause
heat to build up inside and damage
the oven’s enamel. If you wish to
place dishes directly on the bottom of
the cooking compartment, the oven
temperature must not exceed 50 °C.
Be careful when handling cookware
– the enamel can be easily scratched.

The oven door is heavy and has a
glass front. Do not allow the door to
fall open when taking it off its hinges!
■
If a trolley is used to move the appli-
ance, the appliance must be lifted as
shown on the packaging.
■
Do not use the appliance door han-
dle to lift the entire oven! The han-
dle is not designed to carry the whole
weight of the appliance.
