nufacturer of the appliance in the
instructions for use as suitable or
hob guards incorporated in the ap-
pliance. The use of inappropriate
guards can cause accidents.
■
Oven
–
Only ever operate the oven with the
oven door closed.
–
Do not cover cakes or roasts being
cooked in the oven with baking
parchment. Do not allow food, ba-
king parchment and aluminium foil
to come into contact with the hea-
ting elements.
–
Do not place food to be grilled too
far back near the end of the hea-
ting element. It is particularly hot
there. Fatty foods can catch fire.
–
Do not store temperature-sensitive,
combustible or flammable objects
in the oven! If the appliance is swit-
ched on unintentionally they may
deform or ignite.
–
Do not use the oven for storage
purposes.

In case of an oven fire: Do not open
the oven door!
■
Once the fi re has been extinguished,
have the appliance checked by our
service team (see page EN-30).
■
Timer
–
Before starting the timer, please
make sure to inform all members of
the household so that they do not
put anything in the oven.
–
Never leave anything to grill unat-
tended when using the timer!
–
Monitor the oven while using the ti-

burning. Please note that fats, oils
and alcohol can catch on fire when
heated.
Health hazard!
■
Do not defrost meat, poultry and fi sh
in the oven. Take the frozen food out
of the freezer ahead of time, cover
and let it defrost in the refrigerator.
The fl uid from the frozen food must
be able to properly drain, otherwise
harmful microorganisms can form.
Acrylamide may be carcinogenic.
Acrylamide is produced when starch is
exposed to excessive heat, e.g. in pota-
toes (fries, chips), biscuits, toast, bread
etc.
■
Keep cooking times as short as pos-
sible.
■
Only brown the food slightly, do not
allow it to brown too much.
■
Cut larger-sized fries and then bake
at maximum of 180°C.
■
Brushing baked goods with egg whi-
tes or egg yolks helps to reduce the
formation of acrylamide.
Risk of tipping and injury!
If the oven door is loaded with a heavy
weight, the appliance can tilt forwards.
There is a risk of injury from falling ob-
jects.
■
The oven door must not be used as a
support prop, seat or step.
■
The supplied bracket must be atta-
ched to the wall before the oven is
used to prevent the appliance tipping
over.
