5. Place the grease filter (10) with the
pins (11) into the openings (12).
6. Push the locks (9) up; snap the grease
filters (10) in and release the locks (9).
7. Switch the power back on.
8. Switch on the appliance again; then turn it
off as required.
Inserting/replacing activated
charcoal filters
Activated charcoal filters are required for
circulation air operation. They help combat
odours. They have to be replaced as soon
as the cooking odours can no longer be ade-
quately filtered.
If used frequently, you should change the fil-
ters regularly. Check the filters at least once
every 6 months.
For the source of supply, please see chapter
“Service” on page EN-21.
1. Switch the appliance on as described in
the section “Switching on the appliance”
(see page EN-15).
2. Remove the mains plug from the socket,
or switch off the mains supply using the
corresponding circuit breaker.

3. Open the locks (9) on the grease fil-
ter (10) and carefully remove the grease
filter.

4. Only when replacing the charcoal filters:
The two activated charcoal filters (13)
are located to the right and left of the mo-
tor (14).
Loosen the two activated charcoal fil-
ters (13) and remove them.
5. Place the new activated charcoal fil-
ters (13) on the left and right side of the
motor (14). Make sure that the studs (16)
are fitted properly in the grooves (15).
Lock the activated charcoal filters (13) in
place by turning them anticlockwise. Allow
the lock to click into place.
