Higher inlet TDS and/or lower (seasonal) water temperatures will reduce the
system’s water output flow
and recovery rate (efficiency).
For optimal performance if your system is on a well, use a 40/60 well switch with the minimum bound set
to 45 psi. For inlet pressure that exceeds 60 psi, a pressure reducing valve (PRV) must be installed.
Inlet Water Source
The
HANS™ Premium Water Model 2 / Model 2R is designed to operate with a wide range of inlet water;
however, refer to the
Max Inlet Water Levels document (P/N 5313)
for inlet water combination requirements.
If the inlet water parameters are outside the ranges indicated Max Inlet Water Levels document, a pre-treatment
system will be required for the inlet water to the Model 2 system.
